Delivering Safer, Clearer Cycle Lanes with Minimal Disruption
The Orca Cycle Lane Separator is a proven, cost-effective solution for creating safer and more visible cycle lanes. Designed and manufactured in the UK from recycled car tyres, the Orca provides light segregation between vehicles and cyclists — offering reliable protection, long-term durability and a more sustainable approach to street design.
Engineered with a concave, cycle-friendly profile and a half-battered kerb face familiar to drivers, the Orca improves safety and clarity for all road users. It is designed to sit within the cycle lane, positioned up to (but not over) the white edge marking in full compliance with TSRGD guidelines. Typical spacing ranges from 2.5 to 10 metres, depending on location and layout.
Available in Zig Zag or Tip Toe styles and finished in a sleek black design with moulded-in white markings for lasting visibility, the Orca delivers long-term performance with minimal maintenance.
As a modular, surface-mounted system, it can be installed quickly — up to 75 units per day — helping local authorities and contractors complete projects faster, with less disruption to traffic.
