Inclusive Mobility | Accessible Transport & Tactile Solutions

Rediweld’s Inclusive Mobility range supports safer, more accessible transport infrastructure by improving access to public transport and providing clear guidance for visually impaired pedestrians.

The range includes BusPad, a modular, surface-mounted level access platform designed to upgrade bus stops and help achieve DDA-compliant boarding with minimal disruption. For locations where permanent infrastructure is not available, BusRamp provides a temporary, modular access solution originally developed for the London 2012 Paralympic Games and now widely used for inclusive boarding at buses, coaches and taxis.

Tactile paving within the range is delivered through RediFix tactile tiles and the Raised Line Delineator. RediFix provides compliant tactile surfaces for pedestrian crossings and public spaces, while the Raised Line Delineator offers a detectable segregation feature on shared routes, advising visually impaired users of the correct side to enter. Both products are designed in line with Department for Transport (DfT) guidance on the use of tactile paving surfaces.

All inclusive mobility products are surface-mounted to avoid excavation and spoil, allowing upgrades to be delivered quickly with minimal impact on existing infrastructure. Manufactured in the UK and designed for durability and long-term use, the range helps authorities deliver inclusive, practical solutions across transport hubs, streetscapes and public environments.

Together, these products enable accessible design to be delivered efficiently—supporting inclusive travel without the need for extensive reconstruction.
